2nd Round AMA Dist. 17/16 Enduro Roselawn, IN

Made it to the 2nd round of AMA Dist. 17 Enduro which my cousin Frank made it down which was cool to see. I went to sign up to see what minute I was on I ended up getting on 19 which was not bad and Frank got on 18. I got to the start and got into the 1st test and was feeling good and riding fast I got the enduro cross section made it through clean. after the section I was going through an open wood section and ended up catching a tree right at knee height which took me right off the bike. I got up made sure I was ok and then went to my bike to find that my side cover was ripped off my so had to zip ty that back on. I finely got going down the trail to find some one needing help which I ended up stop to help to put his carb back on his bike because he did not have a screw driver I got that back on his bike and took off down the trail. so at this point I was behind the 8 ball and had to get moving. I got to gas and made to the restart with time to spare which was nice. I got to the start of the last test on time which that's how it should have been all day and right when I went into the test it stated drizzle I rushed through the last test to get in before the heavy rain in which I end it up beating. I ended up finishing up in 12th which was not bad for making a few mistakes and helping a fellow rider out. I would like to thank all my sponsors and family that make this possible.

Round 1 AMA Dist. 17 GP Lasalle, IL

Got out to our 2nd race of the year that was just an hour away from home. the GP was put on by a new club Midwest Off-road Riders. The start of the race was driftnet that we stood on the other side of our bike with one hand on our helmet I got a horrible start in the 1st moto and had to play ketchup for the rest of my moto. My 2nd moto was better which got a better start but in the 2nd or 3rd lap going down a straight away I ended up crashing and throwing away any good result. I ended up finishing 9th. My Dad had a good 1st moto and ended up finishing 3rd . His 2nd moto came he was running good in till he crashed at the same spot I did and he ended up throwing 3rd place away. He ended up 4th for the day not a bad way for his start of the year.
I'd like to thank all my sponsors for all they do and my family for the sport they do

Round 1 AMA Dist. 17 Harescrambles Keithsberg, IL

1st race of the year finely came it was around 45 50 degree day and sunny a lot better then it been. All week long I was battling with a cold that turned into laryngitis not the way I wanted to start the new season with a new bike. got signed up then just sat around waiting for the race to start got to the line was felling ok. They said 30sec. now the nerves are fully in and the 30 sec. fell like a hour the gun went off and I took off got a mid pack the best I have gotten in a log time. I started to find a grove and learn my bike because it was only my 2nd time on it and this was a whooped out sand track. I just rode my race and on the last lap had the energy to push and fleet good doing it. I ended up finishing 4th on the day not bad for being sick. the switch to 2 stroke was the right move because the last couple years on 4 strokes I have been in a slump. I would like to thank all my sponsors that make this possible.

First weekend out

It was the first weekend out for our new truck and my new bike. We where going down to Halls Cycles to pick up my dad's bike and our supplies for the start of the year and to get time on the bike before the first race. Jay Hall told us to go to Midwest Motocross place that's just a half hour from the shop. So we put the address into the GPS just before we got to the park we pull up to a farm called ghostly hollow and a dirt road coverded  in trees just wide for our truck and trailer my dad asked me are we in the right spot I told him I think so. So we drove down road found a dirt hill that broke our new truck in I finley  saw 6.4L was a great replacement to our V10 we had. We got up the hill and there's the track. I got out there started riding and learning my bike we got out in to the woods and got off the mx track and I found what my bike is realy like. I learned  how the my control feels and did not have to change a thing. I would thank Brad the land owner of Midwest Motocross and Jay Hall for sending us down there. I would like to thank all my sponsors and my entire family for making it possible  remember to keep it shiny side up.
