The weekend started out with putting in work over in Roselwan for the summer bummer. Once we were done with the work we headed home to load up. It was an early start on Sunday and we headed out to the Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club. They were calling for rain all weekend long. Once we got to the track, we found out the rain missed them and this was going to make for a good day. This was the 1st time Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club put on a GP. The track they laid out was exactly what a GP should be. The track had a good mix of everything, moto track, grass track, a good mix of woods, hills and creek crossings. Chris’ B race started with the bike not starting and having a last place start. He was charging through the pack until the front tire hit a tree root in a rut causing him to go down hard. He got back up and finished his moto strong. The 2nd moto was live engine start and he got a better start. He ended up running well and started to get back into his old grove before the big crash he had in Oakford. Chris took 1st in B class for the day. The Premodern race Chris put in 2 strong motos to take 3rd on the day. Mark put in 2 sold motos. He enjoyed one awesome course. Mark finished the day 5th overall for Premodern. For everyone one who did not make it down for Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club’s 1st ever GP missed one good race. A huge shout out to Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club, they put in a lot of time & worked very hard on a wonderful course. On to the next race!
