AMA Dist.17 Hare Scrambles Keithsburg, IL

We headed out for the final race of the season do to the winter weather that was coming on  Monday and the fact I am not running the sires I did not race. My dad was in a 3 way battle for 4th he ended up taking 7th on the day now we just have to wait to see how the points fall. AMA Dist 17 GP Canton, IL

We ended down to the final GP of the season but first stopped by Hall's to pick up my 2014 and drop off my 85 engine. We started to tare in to it and found the clutch was fine but a lot of melt shavings where in the oil which conforms the problem all year I was chasing with it. After getting rain all on Saturday the club ended up canceling practices and went right in to the mottos. I was running two classes to get some time on my modern bike again the first moto was a little muddy but by the end of it felt like it was tacking up. For the vintage race after the restart I was battling for 3rd and got it to 3rd place and setting up on 2nd till I washed the front end out in a down hill turn. I charged back up just to run out of time. Now the 2nd moto I was battling for 3rd place ended up washing the front end out again and then almost went down again charged my way back up and took 3rd. I Ended up taking 2nd in B class and 4th in Per Modern and my Dad took 5th in Per Modern. AMA Dist. 17 GP Port Byron, IL

This was the first time Muddy waters has held a GP event we went out to race it. The track was 98% Moto the dirt was perfect and the weather warmed up to 65. AMA Dist 17 Hare Scrambles Geneseo, IL

There was a double header at Geneseo do to all the rain outs we had I had to work on Saturday so my dad head out to race. He ended up taking 5th on the day in +50B. For Sunday the day did not go as plan my dad got a rear flat on the 1st lap and I smoked my clutch come in to the last lap. Fox Valley Off road GP

We headed out to the final Fox Valley race of the year. The practice was very slick but by time it was for our motos it tacked up perfect. The first moto I just could not get a flow going and ended up taking 3rd. The second moto I was charging to get second place but got hung up with a +50 ridder that cost me time to reeling in second. I ended up taking 3rd on the day and my dad had a clean day and took 4th. Fox Valley Off-Road Hare Scrambles

After getting 7in of rain Friday in to Saturday they ended up reschedule the GP for next Sunday. The Hare Scramble was still on we went out there to run a fun mudder. I found as the race was going on must parts of the track was tacking up and becoming fast. I ended up taking 2nd in vintage and my Dad took 6th in +50B. All in all after the amount of rain they got it was a good track and fun. We went down on Saturday to work on my 85 250 and got it running perfect for the final stretch of the season. the weather was perfect and the club laid out a 12 mile track. We headed out to Ottawa for a GP the first moto I was 2nd going in to the first turn where I ended up taking the lead do to him sliding out in the turn. I held the lead the hole moto to take the 1st moto win. Now the 2nd moto I had to win to take the over all on the day. I ended up pulling the hole shot and battled all the way to the last turn to take the win and the overall for the day. My dad ended up battling for 3rd and take 3rd for the day. Double Header at Fox Valley

We head back to Fox Valley for a double header after a month of working at Roselawn helping putting on the Summer Bummer. The weather was perfect and the track was fast and fun. I was battling it out for 3rd in the first moto just coming up one turn short and then the same in the 2nd moto but this time a half of bike short. I cant complain do to the time I have had off the bike and just after a hand full of rides get back to where I was be for I got hurt. Double Header at Fox Valley

We headed out to Fox Valley for a weekend of racing with a GP on Saturday and Hare Scrambles on Sunday. In the first moto going in to the 2nd lap I washed the front end out costing me battling for the win. Now going in to the 2nd moto I charging hard to get the win and just came up one turn short from getting the win. I ended up taking 2nd on the day and my dad took 3rd. Now for Sunday I took 1st in vintage and my dad took 7th in +50B. AMA Dist.17 GP Byron, IL

We headed up to Byron for there GP I made some jetting changes to my bike that made it run perfect. My cousins came down from Wisconsin to race vintage with us it was like old times seeing 4 caballeros out on the line at the same time. I had a great first moto I felt like my old self on the bike since coming back and was a great feeling to still be able to ride like that. Vintage Days

We went out to Vintage day in Ohio for all vintage we had racing on Friday and on Sunday. for Friday we had a Hare scrambles that me and my Dad raced in. I took 7th with my bike running a little rich and my dad took 10th. Now on Saturday I ended up picking up a new project for the winter a 1986 400 XC. We got a good rain going in to Sunday making the moto mucky after the 1st moto the track was shaping up good and by my 2nd moto it was perfect I ended up taking 6th. Then Instead of going straight home on Monday we stopped at the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio.

Double Header at Oakford, IL

Fox Valley Off Road Double Header

After getting 2 weekends of ridding in I felt good on the bike and was ready to come out and race. On Saturday GP we went out for practices after it was over it started down pouring and lighting out causing the race to get called before it started. On Sunday for the Hare Scrambles He lad out a cool flat track do to all the rain we got. after the first few laps the tracked shaped up and was good. We headed out to Coal Valley for the 2nd GP of the year and after battling with the rain all week heading up to the race the track seamed to be good with only one real mud hole. We came down early so I can get the engine pulled out of my bike so it can get rebuilt after 3 seasons of hard racing on it. AMA Dist.17 Hare Scrambles Keithsburg,IL

After the first round getting canceled twice we finally got out to race the ground was still frozen and covered in water. It was the first ride for my dad on his new bike not the best condition to try out the bike but it was ride time he ended up taking 6th luring a new bike. He had a blast on the bike had looked better on it then his 2001 300. I was able to ride around to watch the race and felt good getting back on a bike ridding around. Injury Update

I had a CT scan on 12-18-18 I seen the doctor on 1-29-19 and he said that everything has healed up nicely and the way he wanted it to. He released me back to normal life. Now I can slowy get back it to ridding and racing. I would like to thank every one that has been behind me through out this injury and the Doctor for putting me back together  and the lord for allowing me to come through it healthy.
